I'm kind of like Annebelle. I would love to go, but when they're in my area, it's still not super near and no one to go with. :-(

I have been to 3 WOF, twice in Charlotte, once in Greensboro. They are for believers and those with their finger on the light switch I think. I truly enjoyed Steven Curtis Chapman this fall and my favorite speaker this year was Lucy Swindoll and Steve Artherburn. The marketing was so heavy it was a bit hard to listen to. I have gone with two church groups but this year I just went with a friend. And Marylyn Meberg is one wise lady!

OOoooo, girlieQ. I loved my experience at WOF in Atlanta!! Mostly, the atmosphere encouraged and inspired me to love Jesus.

How can I not love Patsy Clairmont the most? She made it possible for me to be there, but her humor, her poignancy, her love of Christ--and the way she expresses all--compel me to adore her. All the speakers were good, but she's something special :).

Musically? Oh, my. I was THRILLED to hear Sandi Patty who STILL sings with the voice of an angel...and Nicole C. Mullen absolutely brought down the house as her voice reached the heavenlies and brought it back down to us :).

All that being said, there is one thing I think they need to change: hawking books between every speaker. It got to the point I dreaded Mary Graham getting up to speak. The wretched, excess consumerism (women were buying stuff in droves) grieved me. It was counter to the messages shared during the conference :(.

I haven't been to a Women of Faith conference. I didn't have time or finances this year. I live in Birmingham and would have loved to have gone to Atlanta!

I've never been to one. I think about it, but usually it's not near me, and when it is, I don't have anyone to go with or by the time I realized it was near me, the conference was over.
