My friend Robin @ Pensieve had so much fun doing a Blog Hop party last year during BlogHer, that she’s doing another one this weekend! I am trying not to be late to the party like I was last year, so I’m staying up and writing my post to link up in a few hours.
Welcome to my little part of the blog world!
Robin says keep this short, and I like to keep her happy. Talking to her always puts a smile on my face! So, a few things about me … I am:
- Horribly allergic to any kind of titles or boxes you may try to put me in (mom blogger, christian blogger, etc.)
- Married to Duck (yes, nickname) for 13 years this coming October
- Mother to Doodle (yes, nickname) for 10 years this past June
- Addicted to Coke in the red and white cans preferably
- Accused of having an affair with my laptop (by husband and daughter!)
- Techie with a capital T (WordPress, CSS, HTML, PHP, Feedburner, you name it)
- Southern with a capital S (many of my words are more syllables than you would think)
- A Harley Davidson gal (ride my own Heritage Softail)
- A struggling Christian woman for 13 years this July
This is what I look like on a really, really good day (made up, hair done and all):
But, in reality, you’d probably catch me looking more like this (helmet hair, no makeup, scrunchy):
I almost can’t believe I just posted that picture, but why not? This is truly how I look 99% of the time. Oh, and if I showed you a close-up, you could see the waffle-print from my helmet on my forehead 
And yes, I really am that white!

Someone once told me that after childbirth, all vanity goes out the window. Not exactly true, but for sure any sheepishness about letting people see what you really look like does.
