Some very interesting conversations come up on Twitter — especially with the variety of people I follow. This guy Chris Brogan asked on Twitter (and I thought his blog although I can’t find it now) for people to pick 3 words that would help them focus their services/life/whatever in 2009. I just went through 20 pages of Chris’ tweets to try and find his wording, but alas — he talks a lot … to everyone … and I gave up.
Anyway, the point of this post is to share my 3 words for this year. I should definitely print them out so I’ll see them every day.
Will — I want to know God’s will for my life. I want to stay in God’s will for my life. I desperately need to remember it’s His will — not mine that counts.
Love — I need to learn to love the people around me. Love them like God loves them. Show them grace. I also need to learn to love myself — to forgive myself for mistakes and not be so hard on myself. Love others and be happy for them — not jealous or envious.
Live — I need to learn to live my life outside of the virtual world. I need to get off the laptop and experience life — to fully live! Whether that means learning to sing *shhh! Don’t laugh* with Duck or going for a ride on my motorcycle — I need to live life!
So, have you thought of 3 words? I like this because frankly, resolutions suck
Share your 3 words here or on Twitter or on your own blog. Just be sure to let me know!

My 3 words for 2009 are …
Commitment – Commitment to do God’s will … I know what it is, I just need to do it.
Prayer – Pray faithfully every single day … praises to my Heavenly Father, thanks to my Heavenly Father, and prayer and supplication for other believers and family.
Love – to love others with the Love of God, unconditionally, without reservation; because I see them as God sees them … the Christ in them, not the flesh.
There ya go … I let you know what they are, now I just have to follow through … maybe I should start with the first word – Commitment!

Just found your blog through your tweet to Emily and the Nester….enjoying my first time visit. Are you coming to She Speaks again this year? I am planning on going….can’t wait. Hope they do a blogging session again for people to meet up, but it’s not on the site yet.

Blog, Blog, Blog. Just kidding but really. I really do want to be more intentional in my writing so that my words can have meaning, my life have purpose and my Lord be glorified in the midst of it all.
Praise the Lord. See you in a couple of weeks.
