Oh my goodness, unfortunately nobody seemed to miss my belly! I know it’s noticeable, but literally everyone noticed, or so it seemed. Hopefully I’ll only have it a few more days, baby due date is fast approaching.

Lisa B….I wish I met you at She Speaks. I was on the speaker track. I went to the blog reception but it was awkward since I am not a regular. I recognized a few faces. I have my picture on a blog page but I am not sure I want to blog my everyday life. I have thought about blogging God Moments. That is something I could write I think. It was very interesting to read your feedback from She Speaks. I can’t wait to read your post below about it not being as great as you expected because of your closeness to God. That is a much as I have read. I am going to ponder your words below. I can’t wait to see what Shari picked out for you. I felt such a joy inside when I met her and I was afraid of meeting her. I am challenged with fashion also. I think the value of She Speaks will turn out to be more that you thought. God will use what you learned to draw you close. He makes everything beautiful in its time.

Your comment about me being farther ahead in the writing thing almost made me laugh loud enough to wake the household. I am so just in the infant stage of it all. I didn’t go into the conference with big dreams and some grand assurance of a higher calling. Seeing and listening to all those other women who had their proposals and plans made me feel rather insignificant at times. I did, however, come away with a greater peace about it all. I’m not alone in my insecurities and I don’t have to know all the answers *right now*.

But I would like to see your new clothes right now, because the haircut is fabulous and the clothes have got to be just as good!

Lisa, this is an excellent conference summary.

Yes, I heart WordPress as much as you do.

I think I would have had a panic attack if someone asked why I was there. I really started worrying in the week leading up to the conference that there were all these women with their acts together who KNEW why they were going. And then there was me. I see you felt the same way.

I’m so glad I met you this weekend, and I totally get your motorcycle love. Like I said, I grew up on the back of one.
