I love reading Rachelle’s blog at Seek First His Kingdom. Today she posted a link to this video.
If you do watch Oprah, can I suggest you turn her off and do something more productive? Even a nap could do you better than watching her show. Don’t fall for the lies. Read the Bible and learn for yourself. Don’t take my word for it — God will show you if you just start looking for Him and not Oprah (or Dr. Phil for that matter!).

Clearly Oprah is grinding an ax about her *own* experiences with church and has no business condemning God, the Bible, and/or any denominations. What’s scary is that people who are nonbelievers, or even people ‘on the fence’ can easily be dissuaded from investigating faith any further when confronted with propaganda like this.
I’d hope Oprah would use her money and celebrity in positive ways of witness, sort of like Bono has done – but I guess not. What a shame.
I posted this on my blog earlier this week. I’m so glad it is getting around everywhere. She has such an empire going and it’s time for Christians to stand up and say ENOUGH! Thank you for posting this.
