… another book last night! Karen Kingsbury’s Between Sundays. I really liked it although I found myself wanting more football information

… AND! I finished Doodle’s curtains. I don’t know how long ago I started on them (I’m not going to look either), but I finished them and they are actually hanging in her room now! She had wanted to decorate her room in dragons, so we had to compromise. I found some orange/red/yellowish fabric and she said it looked like dragon fire breath to her — so we were good to go. I’ll just give ya’ll a few tidbits:

• This was my first sewing project.
• I looked up different ways to make the top, but decided on my own calculations for the tie tabs.
• I calculated way more tie tabs than were needed making the project longer, harder.
• I found out it didn’t really take that long once I actually started doing it.

So, here is a not so great picture. I’ll see if I can take some better ones later, but for now — I need to get writing

Oh yeah, thanks to Duck for hanging the perfectly LEVEL curtain rod. He does come in handy every once in awhile.
