Thankful Thursday

Last night Duck asked me why I share embarrassing stories with the world, and none of the good stuff. So I decided to make my Thankful Thursday post all things I’m thankful for about him.

• I am thankful that he simply goes to the laundry room to look for clean clothes instead of yelling at me.
• I am thankful that he still loves me after 11 years of marriage.
• I am thankful he has a calm spirit and can deal with the troublemakers in our lives (namely me and Doodle!)
• I am thankful doesn’t get mad if I shrink one of his favorite tshirts.
• I am thankful that he’ll rub my feet on those rare days where I’ve been on my feet all day.
• I am thankful he still thinks I’m God’s Perfect Gift to him, because you know, God’s never wrong.
• I’m thankful he encourages me even when I fall down going in circles.
• I am thankful he wants to go to work every day to provide for me and Doodle.
• I’m thankful that he takes care of working on homework with Doodle. She’d drive me crazy if it were all me!
• I’m very thankful he didn’t marry me for my cooking, cleaning or sewing skills (or lack of).
• Most of all I’m thankful that he is a Godly man who gives me space and time when he drags me out of bed on a Sunday morning for an early morning service

There are many more great things about Duck, but I didn’t take my nap today and I can’t think very straight!
