I can’t believe I almost forgot that today is Thankful Thursday! Check in with Iris @ Sting My Heart, read her TT post, then sign Mr. Linky and get to it!!
- I am thankful for Double Dog Dares. Since I took the challenge, I’ve been posting 2 or 3 or more posts a day. Of course I’ve also been dreaming about blogging and leaving comments. Yeah, I know. I need to get a life, but isn’t that what life is for? to blog about?
- I’m thankful for my daughter, Doodle. Although we have our ups and downs (and she’s only 8!), I am blessed to have a healthy, strong-willed, sweet girl for my daughter.
- I’m thankful that even though I made some poor choices earlier in my life, that my Mom still thinks I was perfect when she and Dad gave me to Duck. The embarrassment from posting about my crooked foot went away when I read that!
- I’m thankful for my husband who has a wonderful sense of humor, a concern for my health and wellbeing, and a beautiful voice to boot (yes dear, I am linking to your blog so everyone can hear your voice. Maybe one day you’ll get into blogging too although I’m not so sure that’d be a good thing
). - I’m thankful for my long-time online buddies (Heather, Becki, and Dale). I’m also very thankful for all the new buddies I’m making this week. I’ve been reading more mom blogs and finding out maybe I’m not so different after all (stop laughing “Better Half”).
- Oh yeah, I almost forgot a really important one. I’m thankful I went looking for my ball shirt early in the day. I have a game tonight at 8 pm. Guess where I found it? Yep, that’s right. In the washer from a few days ago.
So, get on with it now — what are you thankful for??

I enjoyed your thankful list.
You are too funny! I enjoyed reading (read more than just this one). Great thankful list!!!
Lisa - your post made me smile…Finding your shirt in the washer - hehe…was it already washed or waiting to be washed?
I think that blogging can be very addictive - I really have to make rules that I am not too often on my blog and read other blogs. It is fun though to connect with like-minded people.
Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.
Be blessed today and always.
Great list! Blogging can be addictive . . . it must be tempered by real-life commitments and experiences.
