My right foot is crooked!

by Lisa B on August 1, 2007

I don’t know exactly when it happened. My husband will tell you I’ve always been crooked or that it’s because I was born in West Virginia.

I was walking on the treadmill this morning (yay for me doing exercise!), and I looked down at my feet. My left foot was pointing straight along the treadmill as I was walking, but my right foot was crooked! My toes pointed out! I tried to correct it but it felt funny to try and walk with both feet pointing straight — not to mention I almost lost my balance on the treadmill. That would not have been a pretty site!

Is there something quirky about your body? Do you love it? hate it? ignore it? live with it? Let me know in the comments!

Your foot is crooked??? Must have happened after you were married. You were perfect when we gave you to Howard. :) Maybe that’s why you can’t run.

Perfect???? A crooked foot? I want a refund! There must be some kind of lemon law for wives in North Carolina. Especially if they came from West Virginia :)

Actually I’m quite happy with Lisa – after all she is God’s perfect gift to me. Love you lots dear.

Love ya too Heather — and it’s probably not your nose that’s crooked — it’s your ears. One of my ears is higher than the other and it makes my glasses sit funny too!

Thanks Mom! I knew there was a perfectly good excuse to blame Howard for!! I still don’t know if it’s why I can’t run — I’ll have to work on that on the treadmill! I love ya! Thanks for sticking up for me :)

Yes, dear, “Lisa’s Better Half” — I’ll never let you forget that I am God’s perfect gift to you — just like you’ll never let me forget that you are God’s perfect gift to me. I am glad you love me even though I have a crooked right foot and various other quirky things :) Love you lots!

Reminder, there was only ever one Perfect person, Jesus. Everyone else is crooked.

So, maybe God wanted your foot crooked. It could be a testimony somewhere in your life…

Howard, I shudder to think that you had anything to do with her crookedness. I’ve had many a conversations with Lisa, my bet is she was crooked long before you came along. ;)
