No, not my mommy! I’m talking about taking care of me. My hubby’s been working out again at a gym near his work. He’s been doing great, getting up way early, and completing his workout before he goes to work. He’s felt much better and sleeps harder. He’s been after me to join a gym, get out of the house, and just move to be healthy. So, last week I joined a gym that’s about 2 miles from my house (no distance excuses). I figure after I drop Doodle off at school, then I go straight to workout.
The owner of the place, Scott, has been gracious enough to help me get started on an “easy” program of lifting some weights and cardio (walking on the treadmill). Today was my first full day of exercise and can I just say, “my ABS are sore!” They aren’t killing me, but I definitely feel them. I’d forgotten I even had muscles down there!
One of the main reasons I’m working out is so I can improve my softball playing — or at least be able to run to first (if I hit the ball) without needing oxygen when I get there
How many of you have some kind of exercise program? Share with me any tips you have for working out, motivation, etc. I’m learning all kinds of neat stuff
















I knew this was going to come up… I’m supposed to get back to the gym and just haven’t made it over there… even though shelly has been bugging me…
maybe i’ll just wait until after vacation now…
