Where did the month go?

Talk about being distracted. Here I wrote that “I am a writer.” Yet for this whole month, I haven’t written much at all. I’ve been on vacation to a family reunion; celebrating my daughter’s 8th birthday; and other miscellaneous stuff. I had hoped to have more stuff done by this point in the summer, and I’m really not sure where all the time went — although I am learning that my daughter talks constantly and it’s very difficult to write while she’s talking

Oh, another distraction is I’ve been researching digital cameras and dreaming of digital scrapbooking. So what happened to just writing? I’ve been distracted by pretty pictures! I hope you are having a fun, safe summer. Check back with me the middle of July — Callie’s back in school then
