Here’s my Thankful Thursday post. I’m sure I’m missing out on something, but maybe I can post additional ones later 
- I am thankful for Howard who, since starting a new job 2 weeks ago and leaves early for work, still makes sure both dogs have water and food before he leaves in the morning. I am thankful he put himself out there for change (which we all know is difficult for most men to do!). He’s getting settled into his new job and really can’t wait to get his hands dirty with work.
- I am thankful for the Christians Howard has met at work. I hope he can develop his friendships with these Christian men for encouragement in his own walk with God.
- I am very thankful I was able to read Heather’s testimony this week. I hope and pray she’ll want to share it with you soon.
- I am thankful for my health and the health of my family. I take it for granted far too often and I’m thankful for people like Especially Heather who help me realize to be thankful for that health — but more importantly to know that God is with me all the time whether I’m healthy or not.
- I am thankful for Becki and Dale who have recently joined the blogosphere with some great stuff. I’m thankful too for the ways I see God moving in their lives.
- I am thankful for Howard’s gentle reminders to be focused. For example, when I say I’m going to help a friend paint, he gently reminds me I haven’t finished painting our kitchen or our well house or our front door or … Oh, and the gentle reminder “you get out of it what you put into it,” when I fuss about how I totally struck out (missed the ball completely!) in softball the other night. Yeah, I know I need to work out and practice … blah, blah, blah, … I really do love you honey!
Well, I’ve got to run for the day, but I’m glad I got at least these listed. I’m off to help my friend paint, and no, I haven’t finished painting around the house — doubt I ever will actually — there’s always something to be painted.

Way to go hubby! That’s wonderful about the job and the Christian friends. You are putting vaulable biblical truth to practice by helping your friend paint…if I lived nearby, I would help you paint your house!
