Church Marketing Sucks has an interesting entry referencing a church sign.
I thought I would share this one from a neighborhood church:
“Even a fish stays out of trouble if he keeps his mouth shut.”
I have to admit I’m a little predjudiced against this church, but even if I wasn’t I’d still have a whole lot of things to say about this just being wrong. We’re supposed to be fishers of men. We’re supposed to confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord.
I’d love to have some other opinions on this. I may write out some more in a few days.
